mike1458 14
Yes you are right they are just lurchers. But say if it is 75% whippet, you will have rough idea of what size it will be etc. Saying its just a lurcher could vary a lot from a 19inch beddy whippet to a 30inch deerhound x But yes your right they are just lurchers. chartpolski 20,568
Bringing in a pup from "Lurcher to Lurcher " breeding, you could get anything !! Unless it's from a proven strain. When someone just puts their Collie/Beddy/Grey to a Bull/Saluki/Grey/Whippet the pups WILL be a mix of all breeds and you could get anything ! With an F1, whatever cross, you have a fair idea of the size, wheight, coat, etc ! Of course, some "Lurcher to Lurcher" breeding is planned, and you get what you expect... but unfortunatly most of the time no thought has gone into the breeding and thats why so many dogs are up for sale !! Cheers. Quote Link to post
black recking it 730
so why do they add all the percentage crap when they don't even no what they got as there is that many dog,s in the mix which i think just make,s them a lurcher Quote Link to post
