Guest Ditch_Shitter
If I ever appeared on Master Mind, the Fenn and similar traps would be my Specialist Subject. But then, probably only one man living could set the questions. Think I'm kidding? PM me. Quote Link to post

OldTrapCollector 377
Ditch, I'm not sure of their full distribution but the only outlet I have ever heard of for these was CTF Field Sports, maybe they were only advertised there for their short production life? OTC Quote Link to post

OTC I think you are right there ,..they sort of 'came and went',..real quick.. Quote Link to post
john b 38
I think we are talking slightly out of phase with each other. You are talking about a particular branded product ? I am on about the more general clap trap design. And what's facinating here is that the ones I am on about are the other way up ! From a John Humphreys 'My Shed' article in shooting Times And from Carnegie's Practical Trapping Quote Link to post
OldTrapCollector 377
John b, I know exactly what that trap is you have pictured , and a bit about its controversial past but I will let the Fenn expert tell you - Ditch, what can I say? OTC Quote Link to post

Guest Ditch_Shitter
John, I'd very much like to see a copy of that article, if possible, please mate. And, yeppers, I know about all the traps being discussed here. However, if ye'll forgive me, I try not to talk about them too much. Why? Quite simple; I'm compiling a book about them and don't wish to drip feed my information down the years prior to publication. I'm sure ye can all understand that stance? It'd be like letting ye peek at ye xmass pressies. But don't worry; It'll be an xmass to remember. Trust me on this Quote Link to post
