Resisting the Urge

Recommended Posts

Hey guys,

I got 19 wires out today on a nice bit of permission near me. Does anyone ever get the urge to go out and check them at night. Its so hard to overcome but im actually going to resist and do it properly and wait for then morning. But i will get some photos tomorrow hopefully with 10 rabbits, But i have real bad luck of getting sqaut. We didnt get any rain this arvo so i dont think too many will be out, however its a 1/4 moon moon and the clouds are over so she is a dark one,

Atleast you will get to see some ground i gotta snare.

Mitch; I've set at night and then gone round checking later on in the same night. Had to, for various reasons. It was cool.

Actually, being on one side and seeing a rabbit get up and run like hell for an entire acre before suddenly stopping dead is quite the experiance!

If I set early enough (before 1000) I will go and check the snares at night with my boy. But I know Snareman would reccomend against this, so some nights I have to bite my lip and wait for the morning.

I feel like a little kiddie the day before Xmas when i drive up to the plot I have set snares on.

Has santa given me a rabbit or not.

Its a bit sad really....................

Kind regards,

Nik
