littlefish 598
Have you ever had a pup before? Put it in a cage. It will soon learn not to piss in its bed . Any mess it makes will be in the one spot and the pup will be safe.
waidmann 105
lots of walks and play (keep the pup tired!!). as soon as it wakes up outside for a wee or whatever. keeping an eye on the pup is paramount,as soon as the signs of needing to go are there straight outside. i would keep her in a cagetoo if you dont have the time (out of the house, otherwise busy etc etc, just be sure she has water and food if for anyperiod of time). good luck. waidmannsheil
scalesntails 118
I use the intensive method. I take the dog outside every 10 minutes for the first 48 hours except for when I am sleeping (I usually sleep about 4 hours). Everytime the pup pees inside I immediately clean it well to remove all smell residue and put a couple of drops of olbas oil on it. Everytime the pup pees outside I give loads and loads of praise and a treat. Your dog will be house trained within 24-48 hours perfectly. The only thing to remember is that when a pup is young it's bladder is smaller so it needs to pee more often than an adult dog until it gets older and more used to holding it so don't blame the dog if you leave it in locked in the house for 5-6 hours and come home to pee on the floor. If you don't have time to take it out every 10 mins then try crating.
iworkwhippets 13,234
Newspapers and puppy pads, you are training your pup to dump in the house, take the pup outside as often as you can, then praise her when she goes, get yourself a crate for her, and put her in for short periods at a time good luck
