readie 184
making sure i'm not just used and then no better off than when i joined. I'd be quiting a job to go into the army but im bored shitless with it and just life at the moment if im honest. Army sparkys are not as well trained as civi ones and nowhere near as experience. Things in the army are done to pass the test, if you fail you get the answers and re take the test until you pass. Not exaclty best practice at actually learning something. Courses are compact and rushed in order to get you out into the field army and on tour ASAP, your no use in training. You are there for the armys disposal, once your no use its see you later. Look at all the WO's and Staff Sergants recently f****d off, do you really think they care about a poxy Sapper? One thing the army will show you is how much better your "boring" civi job and life really is, all though your told from day one your only other option is McDonalds. Let the brainwashing begin. I honestly don't know why civis regard squaddies so high, the majority are the most useless c**ts i've ever met. Although you do learn to say yes sir no sir three bags full sir alot. Suppose employers like that. Good luck in what ever choice you make, i for one can't wait to be a civi again and have my own freedom again. spent many yrs as a sapper,if you cant wait for your freedom again the army is not for you.majority are useless cu**s really tell that to the engineers that have given there lives for this country, from the sapper to full blown captains.your talkin the usual bollox ive come to accept from this forum best thing you can do is fu** off and work in mcdonalds.

I understand the army might not be for everyone just like every job you will have some who like and others who dislike... but I do think all should should respect those putting their lifes on the line for our country. Can also understand emotions running high if your stuck in something that you don't like and isnt like a normal job that you can just quit. Readie what job role did you take up if you don't mind me asking? Will you be qualifed in civvi for the same role?
littletimmy 71
spent many yrs as a sapper,if you cant wait for your freedom again the army is not for you.majority are useless cu**s really tell that to the engineers that have given there lives for this country, from the sapper to full blown captains.your talkin the usual bollox ive come to accept from this forum best thing you can do is fu** off and work in mcdonalds. Good for you, couldn't of done to well for yourself if you spent yearrssss as a sapper could you? And i can't tell the ones who have given their lives, becuase their dead, the ones who have died in afgan and other recent conflicts have died for no reason apart from to make the rich richer. Might sound harsh but thats the reality. And dare you can see the mentality of a solider as above, readie feels someone of the same rank as himself (a sapper) is fit for no other job except mcdonalds. Typical of a brainwashed sapper. I can honestly say %+ of my collegues don't want to be here, but are now trapped one way or another, there little quote on the tv "not just a job, its a lifestyle" is spot on. And as for the army is not for me, thats correct of any free thinking person is not suited to the army. I like to decide where i live, what sports i play, to get out with the dogs. If im forced to work nights or weekends i'd like to get paid extra for it, instead your punished if you don't. Giving your life for your country is one thing, giving it to line the pockets of the corrupt is another. All i'm going to say on the matter, dare good luck with your choice, i suppose everyone whose thinking of joining is the same as you in the way they view the army (insight courses are nothing like the army), and you can't really grasp the army for what it is until you've seen it first hand, so no matter what people say for or agaisnt your decision probably wont be altered by anyone but yourself. Good luck
