met a guy walking the streets today with his lurcher its a saluki type but only a pet,the first time i met him was about two years ago and i remember him telling me that the dog has haemophilia so i asked him how he was coping with the dogs condition after all this time, well he went on to tell me that if and when it cuts itself the blood now readily coagulates(think thats the word lol) and stops within a short time,oh i say is that down to medication and then he tells me,

no its down to an old man living in ireland, friend of a friend type that heard of the dogs condition and told the guy to feed it 8 raw eggs a day with as much cabbage as he can get down it as well as its normal diet, well i wont say it looks a picture of health not in a bad way i just mean well over weight,so not being scientificaly minded in the slightest, has he found a cure or at least a way of controling a what can be fatal thing for a dog to have, you know whats its like when you get told something, starts the old head thinking for sure or is he talking bollox

the thing to remember as well is,he did tell me that once upon a time someone tried to steal the dog could he have mentioned the condition of the dog to put off potential thieves, fecked if i know but he seems to have found the cure,or has he :hmm:

May well have a mild form and as such will need no treatment unless it suffers major trauma, the eggs? theres easier ways to get vit K if its needed and little evidence that it will make any difference.
