Dawn B 212
Thanks all. The farmer asked us to help him this morning (only 8hrs after the deadline ) because yet again he has had approx 100/120 male birds dumped on his land. It happened last year, they are everywhere, being killed on the lane, running all over the place, in the kennel field, its a shame really, lovely bodied and conditioned birds, we just dont know why they are dumped and why they choose there to do it! Alimac, would love to see the pic. Dawn. Edited February 2, 2007 by Dawn B Quote Link to post

They would of been dumped because game dealers dont wont them, dosent make it right, also being all cocks it would of been a beater shoot me thinks, i use some of my unwonted birds to keep foxes happy Quote Link to post
Dawn B 212
I agree, it isnt right, if you cant use them, they shouldnt breed them. Dawn. Quote Link to post

Dawn B 212
Super pic Alimac, thanks. Yes Joe, all adult birds, or at least young birds, seem to be all male, there are no estates near here that breed Pheasants, in fact there arent any estates really! Dawn. Quote Link to post
