watchman 256
they have been seen by the green keeper digging up and fowling the golf course, does this really warrent eradicating them no matter what time of the year? think the priority would be the rabbit damage rather than the odd fox leaving his mark, whats your thoughts on this Quote Link to post
lanber 3
I'd say it would. My lad went to a top flight club at junior level..The pitch they trained on was unplayable for a full season because of the damage the foxes had done..If they get onto the greens the green keeper will start pulling his hair out trying to keep on top of the repairs and the golfers too. Outofnowhere 93
I guess if it becomes a REAL problem (which it sounds like its well on its way to becoming) then your permission might well be resting on it. That is to say, if you won't do it then they might find someone who will do it and then your toast. I have to control rabbits on one permission all year round cos they number in their hundreds and the Farmer insists I do it or he will find someone who will. Sad but its a fact of life. Get it sorted, they will love you and no matter who knocks on their door they will turn them away cos they got a good one in you. Simples Quote Link to post
