gdaz 0 Posted March 12, 2011 Report Share Posted March 12, 2011 Hello all i wormed my 5 month old pup last sat then frm monday afternoon onwards she had the shits the first time she goes the stool is normal but after that it realy lose,i not changed her food or gave her anything to upset her stomach, she's not off her food and i making sure she got plenty of water so any ideas to help cure this situation would be very much appreciated Quote Link to post
jacksbignose 8 Posted March 12, 2011 Report Share Posted March 12, 2011 With one of my old dogs that was ALWAYS the way with his faeces; the first one was firm/solid and then he generally had another 5-10 mins later and it was loose! None of the others were quite as loose as him but generally the first is always firmer with any dog! Quote Link to post

Both mine dogs will be the same, start solid then after alot of running about will be loose. And i have found this with all my dogs have been the same in 25 years of keeping lurchers. Mine are fed (1lb raw mince chicken + meal or boiled rabbit+meal, so its good grub .I think its how running dogs are made , alot of greyhounds are the same Quote Link to post
