woodchip 2
Which one do you use? I had to phone DEBEN today to ask about servicing my new mk1 the women asked why i still had that piece of junk and not brought the mk3 . i brought my mk1 for £108 off ebay brand new i told her she said the mk3 was much better . I was told by my local gunsmiths mk3 is crap if he buys 10 he sends 8 back. DO YOU AGREE ??? Quote Link to post

kbotw45 1
I think it is a brilliant bit of kit, takes a bit of getting used too but easy to use and you get no interference Thats not to say i didnt like the mk 1 and if i hadnt needed more collars i would not have sold it and would probably still have mine. And touch wood i ve not had a problem with mine yet Nathan Quote Link to post

Guest Frank
I nearly cut off my ferrets head of a while back with the MK 3 Lucky ferret, i would of been well pissed off, as she is a great worker. Never used a Mk 1, but would love to try one out, to compare it to the new Mk 3 i have. I now use a probe, helps a lot, so you wont chop off your ferrets head. I must say, the MK 3 is allways spot on, right over the ferret, but 2 foot out, in depth. I actaully sent an e.mail today to Deben, explaning this, but have still got nowt back, o well. Frank. Guest Frank
This one. Its the long bar, with a T on the end. Once you locate the ferret and start digging and the locator says say 4ft, its allways best to check with the probe every foot or so, till you break threw, this gives you an indication how far down your ferret is below.
