I need if bull x are good for rabbits or not

Thankyou for any replys

 

mate had a 3/4 bullx years ago called mac,,i would not take him on for lamping bunnys,that was at 12 months old,racey dog very good on rabbits,,as it got older it took all leagal game day or night,,

I think if you got the right one with the right percentage they could do r/h/f/d pre ban haven't owned one myself but would like to no if people who own them think the same

i have 1/4 bull 1/4 deerhound 1/2 grey took all quarry day and night and very good rabbit dog ,best dog i,ve owned follewed by her son close second but has,nt had as many seasons :thumbs:

the one i have now is 5/8 3/8 28 inch nd can catch rabbits on lamp but its not good to watch as he nearly kills himself trying too hard :icon_eek: needs to be crossed to a soft colliexlurcher

Why would you think a bullx is suitable for rabbit bashing?get a whippet/bedlington or similar

no 1 said it was suitable or the best ,the question was are bullx anygood for rabbits and yes they are they can be numbers dogs like mine

I tend to think of bullx's as half cross's,and anything else as just a lurcher with a bit of bull blood,if i wanted a rabbiting dog they wouldn't be my first choice.I'm a big fan of bullx's and this is'nt dig at them !
