I was talking to a mate of mine today and he told me that the government has stopped all foreign aid for non humanitairian reasons, is this true?? China is the second largest economy in the world, and the fastest growing, set to be the largest economy in 20 years and russia has the highest concentration of millionaires/billionaires in the world and a load of gas/oil. I've no problem at all understanding the political implications, it's global business but what I don't understand is how they can give so much money overseas when we're in such a mess at home which is where charity should start at IMO.
