Gun Dipping

Hey all recently picked up a Hw77 thats in need of tlc, Tha action has been sprayed black and the paint has chipped, looked terible so i touched it up, However i want to sort it, i dont have the patiance or time to strip and re blue it, Have seen rifles covered in real tree camo (dipped) Can anyone recomend a company/person who does this. Rough price would be nice to, Alternatively if someone knows someone who will strip and reblue a rifle for payment for a fair price that would be great to,

Well the pricing for a "realtree dip" are at best, VERY VERY HIGH! I was quoted £300 to do a stock!

 

The strip isnt too tricky, Colin at Manchester Airguns has some of the finest blueing I've ever seen so thats where I'd take it if I wanted it blueing, he might even strip it for you as well

 

As for the stock, I'd give it your own cammo job, its fairly easy and only about £30 for the sprays you'll need. Or a nice black laquer job

Check out a company called HYDROGRAPHICS with a google search. They are up here in Yorkshire, Rotherham I think. But they do just the kind of work you are asking about and they are brilliant at it too, by the work I've seen them do.

The Stock is fine, Well not mint but in good nick, £300 is very pricey and im along way from Manchester So best think of something else,
