Rik 49 Posted February 26, 2011 Report Share Posted February 26, 2011 labs/spaniels etc will walk to heel without leads all mine did this and have never seen a collar or lead But if you have a Terrier good luck with that its just not in them,there far to hypo and fired up all the time,well mine are Ive tryed it with the terriers not a hope in hell Quote Link to post

Cleanspade 3,322 Posted February 27, 2011 Report Share Posted February 27, 2011 walk it on a lead and heal train the terrier whilst on the lead. once the dog understands the heal command then use a long leash and continue the heal training untill the terrier understands. then go to an enclosed area and continue with the same off the lead.
