ferreting today

hello.. me and my mate decided it would be a nice day to go ferreting so we got the ferrets and the gear and walked to the place... the first set we done was on a mound and it produced 1.

 

 

then we walked to the next set..as we were netting up 1 boted when we finised we entered the hob and waited then we got a bolters and was caught i took the pic while my friend dispatched it .

 

 

then we re entered the ferret and waited a while and then 1 ran and bounced off the net

but the ferret dident follow 5 miniutes later i was checking the nets and there must of been a silent bolter so i dispatched it.. the ferret must of held on for a while..

then we found a nice flat ground set but no one was home

i have a ferret i dont still trust but only had her for 3 weeks and she is nervous of me, i dont always use gloves for her tho!

think its his mate with the gloves on, always be wary around others ferrets. "it doesn't bite honest"

Good stuff buddy, And nice looking gloves there. Where abouts in Aus are you from? You will always get the odd rabbit to slip the nets I put up with it for a while then when the time was right and i had the money i got myself a hound to help with the ferreting, Keep your eye out for a little whippet will be a good little help
