cragman 2,843
On my rimmy I have a Harris 9"-13" and I also have a Buffalo 13"-23" for shooting while sitting off bankings in long grass etc. I use the Harris on both the rimmy and Hornet. I also sometimes use sticks with the Hornet. Quote Link to post
danebrewer10 6
I'd not go down the sitting bipod route, as they'll get quite heavy, much more metal to be lugging aroundI'd recommend making a set of sitting sticks from the plastic coated garden canes you get at the garden centre, tie them together with some silicone tubing or bike inner tube and protect the plastic with some garden hose slit open and taped on and hey presto, something that works just as well as a sitting bipod at a fraction of the cost. if you still want to buy a bipod, then Harris and Shooters Ridge make them, they seem pretty good, harris obviously being the one that gets copied all the time....
