huntingryan 33
i took my nearly 7 month old pup out for a walk to day with my terrier and the terrier pushed a rabbit out right in front of him and they both chased it and i wondered at what age to start..ferreting..mooching..lamping Quote Link to post
rocky1 942
i would wait untill 8/9 months some people do thing differnt but if you start putting things infront your dog that it car,nt catch it will get frustrated and might start 2 yapp or jack, theirs only you when its ready but i would start by lamping first and gets recall spot on on the lamp then might not hunt up ,if you do the oppiste way round they might hunt up,atb gaz Quote Link to post
hullhunter 219
i would have it out now watching other dogs work on the lamp. if you havent got an older dog for it to watch pm me and you can come out with me. not long left now tho before end of season. 1 Quote Link to post
