Do any "profesionals" use paintshop pro any more , its what i have alawys used still good enough for me ,is photoshop that much better ?

 

I use painshop pro 3 Ade & its just about as much as i can manage .. i am impressed with the black & white filter function on there it makes my aging skin look brill :laugh: :laugh:

Gimp isnt much different Kay , get a grip and play with it. :yes:

 

I will download it again i might get on better with it this time :thumbs:

Most professionals use photoshop CS for the final editing, although Lightroom is becoming more popular... CS is not the easiest to learn to use properly, but there is nothing to touch it when it comes to photo editing.

I use CS4 and will shortly upgrade to CS5 ............. Photography is my profession and i am a stickler for quality, if i'm charging a competitive price, the product MUST be of the very best quality. Taken, edited and printed. If you look at the difference in a monochrome image done with a basic filter, or done correctly in photoshop, it is immense. :thumbs:
