I can only assume that as the pups LL was talking about were 'dumped' they must have had 3 legs... between them. Oh and my private Lear jet uses a bit more than £1300 worth of diesel! lamping lurchers 34
Sorry, I thought the dogs were free! Offering to pick up and take one door to door (70 mile round trip) for a complete stranger didn't seem unreasonable, especially if LL was just taking them in because they were to be dumped. Maybe I got the wrong end of the stick and these dogs are worth something but my impression was they were unwanted and going to the pound or a hole in the ground... you were spot on there mate, they were free, and ended up going, i.e dumped, the £150 was an estimate price for a taxi Quote Link to post

See if they have been handed in. Say some guy in the pub was trying to sell them and you went home to get the money and when you came back he said he dumped them? Or a similar story thats better than mine maybe? Quote Link to post

Or a similar story thats better than mine maybe? No the dogs would be categorically, absolutely not be for me! If you looked at my original post I was under the impression that a Boerbel was some strain of Lurcher or running dog (based on the fact it was advertised on this section of the forum), hence my question about what one was. If Moll looked back she'd see that I wasn't taking the p!ss expecting to get a pedigree £1300 animal for the price of diesel to Durham... I thought I was doing a good deed offering to home a Lurcher pup that might end up in the river and dropping the other off for free @ Durham for LL! Sad that some folk think you are on the take when you offer in good faith to do something. Quote Link to post
