skycat 6,174
If you do sell him make sure that the person gives you their name, address etc, as well as being vouched for by someone you respect. I've been lied to, told stories by seemingly OK people, even had them recommended by a friend, only to find that within 3 months the dog has been sold on instead of coming back to me as they had agreed if things didn't work out. The first I hear about it the new owner phones me up to ask me the breeding of the dog: the previous owner had even lied to them about that!!! The world is too full of liars, muppets and plain dumb-dumbers. Sorry for rant but that instance really p8ssed me off big time so now I am more than a bit cynical. Next thing I know the dog is being used at stud despite being under 2 years old and having done nothing. Kinda puts you off breeding at all. Quote Link to post
