You could also try getting your hands on some dvd's or if your lucky get out with someone who knows what they are doing. Snares arnt things you just put anywhere, im only learning still but it is good fun mate, and very effective in the right hands. Just be sensible about it, 7x7 is the aircraft cable i use, and yes a swivel is definate with snaring on open runs. But i dont think they do much on fence snares??? some one will correct me, Quote Link to post

Punch 'fox snares' into the search on here and you'll find a lot of info. There are also some top lads on here who may be able to make some up for you, Quote Link to post
