FightTheBan 1,147
Does anyone have an adress or web link to send back Ortovox stuff (collar). Failed on a dig with me today, thankfully terrier had been located beforehand (or heads would be rolling ). Any help much appreciated, need a fast turnaround. Cheers. FTB 1 Quote Link to post

FightTheBan 1,147
Bryan off here. Had it 2 years. Collar works for a while but any movement in the on/off mechanism and it stops transmitting. Can't be doing with that uncertainty. Its seen a lot of graft but I think it should last longer than that. .terrier man. 193
Wish i never read this thread now lol, dug to my young laky last week using the ortovox collar for first time and was well pleased with it, it was spot on. Quote Link to post
FightTheBan 1,147
It is spot on. It may be just needing a new o-ring in the cap for a tighter fitting and better connection. It has been utterly faultless for 2 full seasons. Still think the bellman collar will take some beating though. FTB 1 Quote Link to post

FTB As you know I don't use them personally (fu.ck that, it looks like hard work!!! ) But, that O ring is the only part that I can see would ever wear out, if it was used in say diving equipment then it would be a service part, that you'd clean grease and replace regularly.
