devvo 0
Got started at about 9:30 am on sunday morning, ferreting an 8 year old woodland at the side of the A168 near me, walked down to the bottom then made our way into and up the wood, first rabbit we saw was a ginger one he buggered off further on up the wood and scarred another one which bolted over the road o well carried on walking the wood up, then found a nice well work set, only a 3 holer so netted up and entered a jill, 5minutes later Mr Ginger is in the net nice easy first rabbit, we then walked further up the wood, found another nice set about 7 - 8 holes so we netted up and let our hob do the rest, waited 15mins or so, got the locator out got a mark of 2ft so dug down to him, broke in to him scratching at a rabbits backside, i got him out then got the rabbit out, a big buck very fat . Anyway moved on to the next set, 4 holes this time, let this year jill in this time, nice double bolt, so thats 4 so far On we go found a big set, only 5 holes but we could tell it was a big set, so enterd the full team, 2 jills and our big hob, within minutes 1 bolted, then 2 then 3 then 4 4 bolts! from the same set!! Then our luck changed hehe, hob came out easy, then dug to one jill on her own :S no rabbit then located the other jill at 4 ft, easy digging so wed have a go broke through to her, then the rabbit moved further up the hole, so we got her out, i then when head first down the hole  but anyway it ment i could get my hand it that little bit further to get mr bunny, another large buck, :ok: backed filled and moved on, only got 1 more after that A very good day sorry no pics as i forgot to take any Good Hunting All Devvo :thumbs-up: Quote Link to post
