night vision

Do any of you use a night vision monocular to scan the fields to see where the rabbits are before you run your dog.

yeah, your right, they are ok, you can drop them and throw them about, and for £350 they are nice and cheap for what they do.

i had a cheap mono what i used to use for spotting and it was perfectly fine so i bought myself a set of bushnell bino`s which are superb bit of kit and ive never used them! gunner sell them i think.

 

my advice is to buy one as small and light as possible and get and IR laser to give you a decent distance for spotting. the laser also keeps the weight and size down.
