Guest barrel
Any body had the same alement as our storm! she had a small lump come up over two days on the outside of her back foot, it didnt heart her but we had it checked by the vet to make sure it wasnt nasty, it was a non-malignant tumour and had to be removed. the vet said they are very common in young dogs and after a trauma, she had caught it a couple of weeks previously running round the farm. she came through it all ok but the bill so far is four hundred and we havnt finished yet! good job we had insured her. rusty 0
i think the fact that it,s an insurance job may have somthing to do with the bill, even so vets are not cheap. Quote Link to post
bonanza 0
Had a similar thing with my lurcher.Found a marble size lump in front armpit.Vet said it looked like a small tumour &cut it out for tests.5 stitches &1week later he said it looked like it was a reaction to a tick bite or similar.£125 for five minutes work but peace of mind at the end of the day. tote 861
Had a similair op on a greyhound bitch 4 weeks ago,a pea sized lump was cut off her wrist and 5 stitches put in 20 minutes work,£92.Must say the vet done a first class job. The fact that you're dog is an insurance job is the reason for the ridiculously high vets bill. Quote Link to post
