Hi,

1st thread in this section,

I have recently got my first lurcher pup (a bitch), I didnt see the Dam or Sire but was told the Dam was a Hancocks 3/4 grey 1/4 collie and the sire was a 1st cross saluki whippet.

 

Anyone familiar with a cross like this? What height would you expect it to make?

well without seeing dam or sire you really have nothing to go by but stab in the dark about 24/25/26 tts

same as smartdog realy ,without seeing the parents,anyway goodluck with your pup ,might be able tell you more you tell what age and what size she is now

im in the same boat mate i bought a collie/whippet/grey off a wee lad when it was 10 weeks old. its 9months now and about 25/26 inchs.

dont worry too much on size mate,it could go to whippet or greyhound,with you being an air gun keeper,i am tipping its for rabbits,nd lamping so it should do a good job for you given time,no matter what the size, atb mick

I will get some up when I upload them off ma camera mate, yeah hes doing well. Pleased with him so far, hes a bright little thing
