Nightmare's first catch

I know this isn't owt special unless it's your own dog, but today my bitch Nightmare caught her first rabbit since she's been with me

 

We were only out walking by the marina with the kids and the dogs, but the bitch had other ideas. She ran out to a reed bed, circled it and refused all calls to come back. There I am cursing "that bloody pup" for an unusual refusal to recall, when lo and behold she pounces into the foliage and stands back up with a squealing bunny in her mush

 

She brought it back live to hand without me even asking to boot, what more to ask Only a 3/4 grown young un, but a catch nonetheless. I was more impressed by the fact she found it with her nose first and sight second.

 

Anyway, enough rambling. Like I said, people catch hundreds of rabbits every day all over the country, but to see a new sapling bringing her first one back... well, you just can't beat it ('til they enter to fox LOL ).
