what is the best all round dog?

sorry lads ino this questions probably been asked so much but im new to the lurchers ive had gun dogs and hounds but im looking on the lurchers for a bit of lamping ferreting etc so i was just wondering what use would say is the best all round lurcher to get i was thinking about collie/whippet/greyhound just from a few posts ive seen but i just wanna know your opions and what the crooses tend to be best at.

HI Bud ran a collie/grey/whippet in the early nineties over small fields and woods.For this ground it was the ideal dog.Quick off the mark and could run all day.Seem to have bag,s of energy.:thumbs: PS And a good brain too

Allway,s say.In the long run.Time and effort reep reward,s.Dont push it.Let it be a pup for as long as it has to be.Some come on quicker than other,s.It,s knowing when the time is right to take a step further.atb. Catcher.:thumbs:

A lad on moochers from your area has a collie whippet x whippet grey dog pup for sale, all jabbed up and a very cheap price and looks a cracking little pup.

thats just it mate at the moment i dont have the time for a dog but come after july i will thanks for letting me konw
