Hobs or Jills ?

Recommended Posts

both hob and jills will work, smaller jlls can get over rabbits and hopefully bolt them,i always take a hob as large buck rabbits can drag jills around underground, always enter my hob to take over if this happens, either he holds em or bolts em or if he kills have 2 dig but saves waiting, ferrets will work anytime but i always stop first sign of younguns or u will always be digging, anyway they are next years stock.good luck sure you will enjoy your ferreting.

I use both ,but mostly jills cause I have 4 and only one hob.

When my hobs get the snip I tend to be wary about working them due to there value but they still get out,,just NEVER without a collar.

What I have found though ,is if the hobs working ,I need the spade!!
