saw an ad for creatine in greyhound megastore has anyone used it i thought it might be to much for a dog to cope with as it can put strain on liver and kidneys

it is used for strengthening tendons/ligaments and fuelling muscles.allowing to work longer. It is mainly used on a racing programme for a dog.But I would say 1/2 teaspoon 3-4 times aweek should be fine dogs over 50/60 pound 1 teaspoon.too much can damage kidneys. For working dogs I would only use it from august til march as dogs peak to it.Just my opinion.
