baikal safety catch

Recommended Posts

When I got mine (a 27) the safety was very sloppy. I took the stock off to have a look and I could see the safety is kind of T shaped. Underneath, sliding up the leg of the T was a coil spring with a washer as a spreader then a pin which goes though the leg of the T holding them in place. On mine the pin was hanging out and pushing it in made all the difference.

So take the stock off and look on the underside of the safety and see it it look right.

And then do what??????????????

Push the pin back in with yr pinky if that's what it needs. If not the gun is suffering something different to mine so you either have to act on what you see or make a judgement what to do next.

Or just stretch the spring a bit, it is just jumping back to safe from the recoil
