Guest ROXY
Went out sunday with terriers and lurchers ,had a blank all morning before trying a bale stack, one bolted out of unnetted hole gun slowed it down but lurcher was slipped as it was clear it was badly wounded and needed humanely dispatching, unfortunately the fox took it up a newly stoned drive resulting in a ripped and split pad, the dog isont lame but will be rested , could anyone recomend something to speed up the healing process . MickC 1,825
Get some Colbys Crystals from the chemist. It contains pottassium permanganate and this stuff helps heal them a bit quicker.A few of the lads I know with Greyhounds use this stuff all the time. Quote Link to post
bullcross1 10
thats good stuff that mick a think the old name for it is coalstons crystals. mix it with a bit of warm water and put it on the cut, my dog cut his wrist about a month back and a used a gel called cut and heal and it just wouldnt close it up, used the crystals and sorted it in no time.a think it cost 2 quid but dont get it on your fingers cause it stains them Quote Link to post
