TWOTWOTHREE 152 Posted January 12, 2011 Report Share Posted January 12, 2011 HI GUYS IVE GOT A LAMP SHY FOX, IVE HAD IT BEFORE BUT NOT THIS BAD,TRIED CALLS FILTERS FREE SNACKS BUT TO NO AVAIL, IM NOT NEW TO THIS IVE BEEN CHASING CHARLIE WITH GOOD RESULTS FOR 18 YEARS (STARTRD EARLY), 99% OF MY FOXING IS LAMPING DUE TO WORK COMMITMENTS, SO MAYBE DAY TIME OUTINGS ARE REQUIRED,I AM NEW TO DAY LIGHT FOX SHOOTING, MY WEEKENDS ARE TAKEN UP PIGEON SHOOTING, SO METHODS AND ADVISE WILL BE MOST APPRECIATED. SNAP SHOT 194 Posted January 12, 2011 Report Share Posted January 12, 2011 do a recce to see if you can find his areas of favour, then place cat food out during the day under mesh, and play the waiting game... if your a confident shot, use the range he's comfortable at stopping say 250 yards [happy with the lamp on him at that distance] and place food and do a night time try... it sure does drive you mad don't it...lol All the very best...
