exersice how much is to much

Recommended Posts

this is the amount of exersice my 4 year old deerhound x gets on average.....

morning 10 minute walk round the block befor i go to work 6 days aweek

afternoon 10/12 mile walk trot behind bike along the canal twice a week

worked 2 sometimes 3 or 4 times a week, day or night some nights the dogs working very hard

rested 3 days on average

if shes had a hard week of work i dont bother with the bike work,

all this is really is a average, extra days are given to rest after hard work & injury,

this amount of work and exersice seem to keep her in tip top condition although some times i think im over doing it with her, obviously different breeds need more or less than this

My quetion is do you think this is to much?

what do your exersice and work ragems consist of

kind regards

duering the summer i useally fly 1 of my hawks through the moult and do a fare bit of lamping in the horse fields with the hawk, so the dogs work load is probably halfed, i would say i do more road walking and mooching in the late afternoons Edited by longarm
