Karpman 44
Hey guys just wondering what the main differences are on the 3 models. Looking at buying a second hand one, Right this moment and it has the 2 part stock so guessing Mk1/2? and would it be a pitfall to buy a Mk1? These guns are very reliable i hear. Phantom 631
Can't believe no one has answered this question for you since you asked! There are many of us S200 shooters around The S200 was originally developed by CZ as a Competition Target Rifle with Dioptre Sights. Air Arms came up with the thought of having such accuracy for a Hunter and thus the AA S200 was Born. I have a MKII but its now (Thanks to Bill) in a MKIII stock. The S200 allowed me to Walk away with the Cup you see on my Avatar, last July. I remember hearing of a World FT Champ, that had been signed up by a company, however he refused to use this companies barrels on their guns until they could match the quality and Accuracy of the S200, so he had his S200 barrel machined down to fit the new companies gun Now if that doesn't tell you something? I have recently become the very proud owner of a BSA Ultra, but although I have Zeroed it the day I got it and it put pellet on pellet almost I did this without Bipod. I am just waiting for the chance to get back out in the field and do some real work with it. The S200 will remain my Sniper rifle, but the Ultra will be my work horse for most quarry. Especially now that I have seen what the Ultra is capable of Phantom 1 Quote Link to post

Karpman 44
Cheers guys. Been eye'ing up a couple of ultra's also. Semi tempted to go with another AA tx200 or similar and be done away with charging. But have had a Tx before so i ought to go for a PCP just getting a tad impatient waiting for the right one lol. By the way the Ultra with Synth stock looks amazing Karpman Quote Link to post
Phantom 631
By the way the Ultra with Synth stock looks amazing Karpman Did you see the Video's of Si, Lj & myself over in Germany? If not, have a look and see what the Ultra is capable of in the right hands, but please don't try to emulate our results on live quarry, stick to paper and plastic as we did We were using Lj's Ultra with the Tactical/Synthetic stock; Barrel cut down, new regulator by Tench and we were shooting targets out to 81 Meters using BisMag Pellets. More than pretty darn impressive that little baby So if you have the brass I'd Highly recomend the either the S200 or the BSA Ultra I'm hoping to get out with my own Ultra very soon but the weather is not being kind to me round here. Rain mainly, but now we have blue skies its blowing a gale Phantom Quote Link to post
Karpman 44
I had a much more worthy budget a couple of weeks ago but due to unforeseen problems in the family, Things are a little tighter. Seen the video mate was superb 81 mtrs is incredible, Fine shooting indeed. Gonna hang on until the right weapon comes up and my budget will be ever expanding anyway. Both the Bsa and the AA sell for a fair price used. Many thanks karpman Quote Link to post
