what is the lightest weight lamp for rabbiting you could recommend, i have a clulite at the moment pleased with the beam but ive a dodge neck and after a while it gives me grief. what was a bit iffy last night was the switch when going from dim to full beam :thumbdown: think i better try and dig out the guarantee

try a lighter battery and put it in a rucsack its alot easier than a shoulder strap digging into your neck

my neck is a bit dodgy sometimes and i use a rucsack its no problems on neck but a shoulder strap gives me some stick if out for a few hours

the lamp you have is more than light enough to use just change battery if its a heavy one

it,s the battery not the lamp mate,you can get a smaller battery ,but do,nt think it will last as long

its not the lamp you have to worry about its the battery.

i use a rucksack to carry my battery in, going to get a lithium battery pack, i can put it in me pocket and keep the rucksack to put all the rabbits in, that if i ever get out due to this fog.

Yea deffo use a rucksack get one with two compartments on the inside, one for battery and the larger one for your quarry

Denise,the Deben Lithium batterys are very light,at the moment a touch expensive but spot on .ATB

I've got the Deben Tracer Max mounted on my Rifle scope, recently i got the handle attachment. It's very light. Shame i can't say the same for the standard battery, weighs a ton. I'll be purchasing a lithium one when the price drops a bit!! Too expensive for me at moment..

The ruck sack is working well but will look into a lithium batterys, when i am a bit more flush. and to top it of my little lurcher bitch has caught a rabbit every night The kitchen stinks of boiled rabbit, followed by windy dog.

Can get a copied lightforce for 50 with a free filter and postage its called the u caller eye

Get a lithium Battery mate. Got one on friday and they are the shit. Bought the 14AH 12V with a Lance and red filter, no messing they are the best thing you can buy at the moment.
