Walk around the woods

Recommended Posts

hi all

thought i'd share a couple of hours i had out today with my mate and our s410's.

so today we thought we would go down to our local permission for a few hours and see what was out now the snow has gone :clapper:

we got there and decided to check out zero at our 35yard zero spot....... 2 clicks down and back on zero :D

first one we spotted as i was just finished zeroing was a nice big squirrel jumping from a branch to another tree and then decided to sit nice and still for a lovely headshot at about 25 - 30yards :boogie:

heres the squizzle

a few walks around later and my mate took a magpie at around 35-40 yards

some more waiting around then i spot a squirrel in a tree so we move towards and as anyone knows when hunting squirrels there can be a chase - and a chase there was :hunter:

squirrels love to run up a tree trunk then go around the other side where you cant see them and this one was the king of it. but after a few aims through the scope and him moving just as we were about to take a shot my mate dropped him with a nice shot to the back of the head as he was clung to a tree :boogy:

so our end result for 2 hours work
