andy mecca 5
Merry xmas and best wishes to all for the new year! Now then, ive not had the oppurtunity to get out yet due to work, transport and worst of all this unbeleivable amount of snowfall so far this season. just wondering if you are getting out are the rabbits in a bad way due to lack of food sources or are their just no rabbits on the ground. i know numbers were down last season due to weather on my permission. trying to get something sorted for the back of this week and was curious to know how others are getting on regards ANDY. Ideation 8,217
Been a tough season but funnily enough this snow has helped, its pushed them all to ground and mainly in the big deep sets. Happy Days. Rabbits are mutant sized as always. Quote Link to post
Leeview 792
Ferreting the rabbits are very reluctant to run,a lot of hole hopping and when you do get them they're lightweight not scrawny but usually a lot more weight on them at this time of year Y.I.S Leeview Quote Link to post
The one 8,597
I was the same as you thinking after a month of this snow the rabbits where going to be skin and bone no worth the killing ,But we got the chance to do a few bits we wouldn't normally do and there big healthy rabbits nice covering of fat round the kidneys .Its raining here and the snows going so i fancy trying a few of the outlying farm roads now Quote Link to post
