rocky1 942
that x might do for some people ,but dos,nt say your dog will ,if the dogs parents both did foxes then its in the blood ,but then it still dos,ent mean your dog will ,all you can is try ,but wait untill you think its ready,i would double fist few times and then you will know ready ,if it has it ,i,ve got 12 month old bull x its done 5 double up with its older brother who is 3 shot and retrived ,but still would,t let it do 1 by it self for another 6 to 8 month , Edited December 25, 2010 by rocky1 Quote Link to post
Penda 3,355
1st of lads and ladies the legislationb states that you can kill a fox with a dog you can use them for tracking flushing or retrieving so we have to talk pre ban comprenday, now most dogs will take old raynard its just some dogs will take them on different to others my bullx bitch is around 23 tts she takes fox single handed but time to time she will make hard work of the odd 1 pre ban that is and my mates bull x will take fox with eas and good numbers of them. Ive saw this with alot of bigger sized dogs but i think technique has alot to do with this ive saw collie crosses taking on single handed fox preban and they are just as good as any bullx i think if its in the dog theyll do iot no matter what ive like i said ive saw most breed tackle old raynard its just the what level you want them to do it at 1 Quote Link to post
