hi everbody,my ortovox d3 dont seem to be giving an acurate reading,even tried it with a bellman and flint collar its reading 10 metres out with both collars,its letting me know when its above the terrier it read 1.9 when we dug down to the terrier it was no more than 0.8,has anyone else experienced this,the box was also reading from 12m to 40m within one second,cheers

Hi mate, a pal of mine had same trouble, He phoned ortovox and they repaired it under warranty but make sure that you wash all the mud off it before sending it off because they had a moan at him saying it was for use in snow not muddy conditions.

a friend of mine has just got one and was having the same problem , he replaced all batteries in box and collar and its right now he said even though the new batteries came with the box you dont know how long therve been sat on the shelf

thats what i thought but its new batteries in both box and collar,i shall send it back with a clean,thanks guys atb
