Phantom 631
Hey Si, Yeah that would be good, we can use the cemy or the paddock for a bit of paper work Thought my eldest daughter was gonna be here boxing day for dinner, but she's not gonna make it due to the lack of public transport and the distance Right, gotta nip to the petshop to get enough ferret food to cover the time I'm away. Just hope Jnr remembers to feed the little monsters for me Take care Tony Quote Link to post
zini 1,939
Hi Dom, Surprisingly not that much really buddy on the rifle itself less accessories. The accessories, scope and lasers, lamps and camera are another story though but they all can be used on other rifles if I want. I think if I remember rightly I paid about £30 at A and M (but not 100% sure) the first mod about 11 months ago and then £100 on the button at Tenches workshop for the full Tench treatment (tune, cocking action shortened, service and regulator tweak to its peak performance). I personally think for me it was well worth the money though as now have a rifle that I would confidently say will match any current hunting air rifle on the market including your Daystate Air wolfs and Rangers, and at about £500 cheaper. What was interesting though is when Tench split my r10 down he found parts in it that he had never seen before including a custom hammer which he thinks BSA have used and designed to test as a experimental part. He also found different springs etc to what normally is found in the r10. This maybe the reason why I have never had a problem with my r10 when other have had nightmares, who knows? zini 1,939
Sounds really good Tony buddy. Im looking forward to it pal. I want to calibrate my r10 and my SR12 reticule mildots with the new 13 grain pellets Tench recommended and will have to do it the old way (but most accurate way) due to not bringing my chrono with me from Germany. Hopefully you will have a range out to 55 metres pal and i will be able to do it. Si Edited December 24, 2010 by zini Quote Link to post
