I've been feeding my 7 month old pup a mixture of dried food and raw beef mince, he loves the mince and is not to keen on the dried food. I bagged a couple of rabbits today with the ferrets cleaned the rabbits up and wondering how to go about it. Do you freeze them first for any reason? mince them? cut the meat off? or give them whole skinned and gutted? are they ok with the bones?

Do you feed dogs rabbit as a main source of food?

That dried food is 8 quid a 3kg bag!!

I would put them in the freezer for a few days to kill any mites worms and flea Ect. Then chopp them up and feed that way as that is what i do. There will be a few more reply on the way to put you in the right direction

Its beta puppy, when I got my pup he was 8 weeks old and that is what he was being feed. Didn't want to change it as its stressful enough being taken to a new home............ Its a good quality food so I am told, and he looks healthy and in great shape.

appreciate all your help.thumbs.gif
