I have a Lakeland x Russell and am not really sure what to do with her coat when it grows? I personally think I should just leave it completely but others have said to 'pluck it' or 'strip it'. So much conflicting advice thatIm now not sure at all  Any suggestions and reasons would be welcomed. Thanks in advance.

I have one terrier who requires stripping, one which needs to be cut and the other has parts of her coat which require stripping and parts which require cutting. Ive been completely cutting her for 10yrs, because i didnt know any better then, its not uncommon for some dogs to have a mixed coat.

MOLL.

Thanks for all the advice, Im getting a brush that pulls out the dead hair and it looks like I'll have to cut her fur around her eyes as she cant see because of it. She's casting quite a bit at the minute too, the weather isn't helping mind as its nearly as mild as spring!!
