HUnter_zero 58
HI folks ive just bought my first ferret its a 13 week old albino jill I guess it's a little late to say "do some research before you get your first ferret". Go to a pet shop and buy a bag of ferret biscuits, or a bag of complete dried cat food, even a can of cat food will do in the short term but fresh meat is better than any of the above that said not necessary. That's a start. Make sure the Jill has a nice DRY and WARM hutch and make sure the hutch is ferret proof! Make sure she has plenty of clean fresh drinking water and make sure you check the water first thing and last thing because of the freezing temperatures. Forget about working her until you have had a chance to read about ferreting and all the kit you need. John Quote Link to post
