been taking my bitch out after a long lay off recently, she,s a saluki/bull/grehhound , i use the bitch for daytime/bushing work and lamping , she,s a bit big for rabbiting but suits me for the work i do with her , as a dog for hunting up cover she misses nothing if its there she,ll find it , and on the last few outings she,s been doing something completely out of character , HUNTING FOR SQUIRRELS , or just stopping and looking upwards underneath a squirrel on a branch , as i said and theres plenty of people that can vouch for my bitch as a working dog completely out of character , and very funny to see a 28 tts 90 lb bullx marking squirrels whilst crashing through cover ive had bullxs that hunt up ,mark to ground and find off the lamp , but this is a definate first for me , so its official , even the squirrels aint safe !!!!

pheasants and rabbits everywhere , nothing bigger ......... and dont get me started on the squirrels ....

i bet she dosent get 3 out of 3 on them mate.but its funny when you see the dogs do that,mine only start doing that after they have chased 1

The only thing mine has ever caught was a squirrel, he cant catch a rabbit so god knows how he got a flippin squirrel

 

I take mine in the woods alot, i walk about 2 miles, they cover about 10 charging about through the woods after them, keeps them happy anyway

Well after a long think me an TAG have decided to go threw with the squirrel dog breeding. . Ill let TAG tell you about the dam but the sire to this litter is useless at anything BUT SQUIRRELS. He excels at the squirreling game. . If anyone is interested in a pup please drop myself or TAG a PM I will guarantee these dogs 100% on squirrels so if you fancy a half BRED (BLACKWATER) SQUIRELLING DOG Get in touch. . .
