auld salmon 28 Posted December 11, 2010 Report Share Posted December 11, 2010 (edited) well me the dog and two stinkers the day first set 1 bolts but slips the net then another whilst replacing the net but got it next set nowt onwards two holer 10 mins and the rumbling starts another 15 mins before it bolts then another 10 mins nowt find her at 4 ft so dig to it find the ferret but cany find the bunny so backfill the hole then a few more sets all looked like there should of been at home but then next set ferret in then out so took nets of then hear the bang bunny away moved into a wood few sets nowt in . then next rabbit bolts and the net goes flying and the peg came out another free then get another so day over. 3 for the day not many aboot this year but a good day had the 3 are in the pan soaking for sunday lunch Edited December 11, 2010 by auld salmon Quote Link to post

caterpiller 10 Posted December 11, 2010 Report Share Posted December 11, 2010 Ferreted the verge at the side of a Country Lane that borders one of my Permissions. Arranged to do a Wood with some extra Lads but once again..... they had back trouble they could'nt peel the mattress of it Did'nt do to bad actually..... only small places so it was a case of Ferrets in......Rabbits out. Only had one Dig..... a massive 18'' to 3 in a Stop end A Farmer pulled up and watched us for 10minutes on his way to a Shoot Day..... arranged to show us round his place next week so that was a nice bonus. Ended up with 27 Rabbits and some more permission Quote Link to post
