trigger happy tikka 0 Posted December 9, 2010 Report Share Posted December 9, 2010 Hi all just been getting a 200tdi disco it's on a j plate it needs a little fetteling here and there but other wise pretty solid it s going in to my mates garage to have the full under. Side cleaned down so i can weld any holes ect then I can paint my axels and everything the one problem I stumped with is the heators won't blow hot only cold and it isn't the head gasket could it just be a foulty matrix cheers Quote Link to post Share on other sites
irishnut 297 Posted December 9, 2010 Report Share Posted December 9, 2010 could well be the matrix, they are the low point of the heating system so silt up, try flushing them out with a water hose, but be careful in this cold weather while taking of the pipes, as the pipes to the matrix through the bulkhead are a brittle plastic, flush both ways, as i said be very careful, as replacing the heater matrix is a dash out job in a disco 200tdi Quote Link to post Share on other sites
