just wondering lads and lasses pre ban obviosly did any of u ever find that after taking charlie the first couple of rabbits afterwards there dogs were a little tough mouthed whith ?

i think its hard for the dog its either 1 of the other ,or yous lad might have dogs out their are soft mouth aswell as hard,i,ve got hard mouth dogs ,they do,nt buthcher rabbits ,just do,nt bring them back alive

one of mine retrives bunnys live to hand,other things didnt get the samee treatment (pre ban),my mate has got a bitch same,they know the difference.then again some dogs just shake bunnys to bits and others will never have what it takes for charlie.they are all different,nice to have both thow

after retrieving shot fox obviously . he isnt to bad whith rabbits but use to bring back live to hand but doesnt any more shakes them to death

tbh most dogs will realise the difference when the Charlie dog bites back and it will soon learn the difference between the two.

one of my old boys wouldnt retreive the first few after he would just pin them to the ground and wait for me to go and collect them but was fine after two or three.
