disco any ideas?

I've had the car into the local garage and he's said it is the clutch thanks for all your advice booked in to be done next friday

My mates just had a look at my disco ive put on here before with no success he cant find any problem with the clutch .What it is that every now and again i find it hard to get into gear especially reverse it will go in ok when the engine is not running but not with it going sometimes i have to turn it off put it into reverse then start it with my foot on the clutch please help(ive had it three years so its not me as its be ok all that time)

 

sounds like the pressure plate fingers are worn stopping the drive to the first motion shaft dissengaging. only way to confirm is to remove gearbox and clutch and inspect wear. if these items are not worn suggest fork or pushrod

Had it done the clutch plate was shattered bits of spring all in bell housing got it back just in time for the snow but now cant afford to go anywhere

how much did they charge you for doing the clutch

 

as mine seems to judder when pulling away

typical it was fine before i had the master/slave cylinder done
