puppy training!

hi all im new on here but not to working lurchers or ferrets. i have kept and worked lurchers for over 10 years but have never had a pup untill now could any one please give me some tips for training beyond the basic sit, stay, come etc she is 10 weeks old and does all of the above well.

your doing well enough for now mate,just keep up the same commands for a few weeks,you,ve got plenty time for other stuff, :thumbs:

thank you...at least you gave me an answer rather than telling me im taking the piss.i no she is still very young i dont want to rush her im just trying to gather info to help us both in the future.

reread it mate ,you can do retrieving now as well

ha haha she will come but if given somthing she would rather lie down and chew it.. how do i overcome this?

nae bother,once she,s jagged take her different places and get her used to traffic, people, other dogs,in the car ,etc, :thumbs:

at the risk of sounding daft :icon_eek: ,not for the first time,lie on the floor and call the pup,it will get the pup curious and come to investigate, :thumbs:

i agree it does sound daft but il give it a bash and see what happens.
